Lesson 5:
Clinical Studies Behind CraniYums
In the first 3 lessons we have talked about neurotransmitters and their role in the body. It seems clear
that if a dietary supplement could increase neurotransmitters, there would be significant advantages to the
function of the body. In this article we review the Clinical studies done on CraniYums to see if it can
truly increase neurotransmitter levels.
Can CraniYums really increase serotonin and dopamine levels?
Yes! While we are not claiming CraniYums will cure any diseases, we do think it is important to
understand its method of action in the body. Simply put, CraniYums works by naturally increasing Serotonin
and Dopamine levels.
|
In a double-blind, placebo controlled study, the group that took CraniYums demonstrated an
average 819% rise in both serotonin and 425% rise in dopamine levels. The placebo group had no
significant rise in serotonin or dopamine. All this after just 2 hours!

Ok, but is that increase in Serotonin and Dopamine enough to make people feel better?
Good question. Dr. Hart assembled another clinical study to see how people felt after using
CraniYums for 5 weeks.
CraniYums Clinical Symptom Study
Forty-two patients of the Wellness Workshop, Spokane, Washington -- a medical weight loss
clinic -- under the supervision of Cheryle Hart, M.D. were treated with a regimen of
Neurotransmitter Precursors. The active ingredients were identical in type, dose and delivery
to those in the CraniYums Diet Support System. The treatment program lasted five weeks. At the
start of the program and each week thereafter, the patients filled out a 51-point questionnaire
regarding known symptoms of neurotransmitter deficiencies. These include symptoms relating
to their appetite, cravings, snacking, energy, and mood. Initially, some patients reported
an increase of symptoms as they became more aware of them.
|
The results were as follows:
After four weeks, the average of all patient reports resulted in a decline of 76% of their
initial symptoms.
90% of all patients reported a decline in at least half of their initial symptoms.
Ten patients (24%) reported a complete relief (100% decline) of all 51 possible symptoms of
neurotransmitter deficiencies.
|
Ok, sounds impressive - but what about a double blind, placebo controlled study on the
ability of CraniYums to decrease appetite, craving and other problems?
Sure - glad you asked! A second clinical study, using volunteers who were
not patients of Dr. Hart, was conducted to test the effect of Craniyums versus a placebo on
neurotransmitter deficiencies. You may view the entire study here...

The results were as follows:
After 6 weeks, the group receiving the active ingredients of CraniYums had significantly more
improvement than Placebo in the symptoms of: fearfulness (500%), PMS moodiness (440%), muscle
strength (460%), thinking a lot about food (260%), irritability (210%), focus (190%), craving starchy
carbohydrates (190%), cravings in p.m.(170%), craving sweets (110%), motivation (100%), food
portions (100%), and chocolate cravings (50%).
In conclusion, use of CraniYums as directed over a six week period affects the symptoms
of neurotransmitter deficiencies in the following ways: improves eating satisfaction, improves
mood, lowers anger and irritability, lessens fatigue, lowers anxiety and fearfulness, relieves
achy muscles, improves sleep, lessens appetite and cravings especially for starchy or
sweet carbohydrates; and improves motivation, mental focus and muscle strength.

Conclusions:
We know this has been a lot of science to absorb - hopefully you had enough coffee on hand
to make it this far! If you look at the science it is clear that neurotransmitter deficiencies are a
major problem for many people. For those of us who are looking to lose weight and on a diet, the diet
itself is probably leading to -even greater neurotransmitter deficiencies.
CraniYums have been clinically shown to significantly increase serotonin and dopamine levels. Furthermore,
CraniYums have been shown in Double-Blind, Placebo controlled studies (the gold standard of studies) to decrease
the symptoms associated with neurotransmitter deficiencies. This includes decreasing appetite, decreasing
sugar craving, increasing mood and improving energy levels.
What Now?
Take the test - do you have a neurotransmitter deficiency?
